Support on April 24 will help strengthen primary care residency training and grow New Mexico’s future physician workforce.

NMPCTC Participating in Southern New Mexico Giving Day 2026

We are proud to take part in Southern New Mexico Giving Day 2026, a regional campaign that encourages support for nonprofit organizations serving communities across Southern New Mexico. Through Giving Week and on Giving Day, we are inviting supporters to give to the New Mexico Primary Care Training Consortium and help strengthen primary care residency training in New Mexico.

Support for NMPCTC helps advance the work we do to support residency programs, residents, faculty, and staff across the state. Since 2013, we have supported primary care residency training through collaboration, shared resources, program support, and efforts that help programs grow and succeed, including in rural and underserved communities.

For us, Southern New Mexico Giving Day is also a chance to highlight the important role residency training plays in addressing New Mexico’s physician shortage and strengthening the state’s long-term physician workforce.

We are also grateful that donations to NMPCTC this year are boosted by a $500 match from the Community Foundation of Southern New Mexico, Gila Community Foundation, and United Way of Southwest New Mexico.
