Our team brings a wealth of experience and passion for supporting graduate medical education programs across New Mexico. Explore each member’s bio to learn more about their expertise, roles, and commitment to advancing GME in the Land of Enchantment.

Nicole Mandall is the Chief Executive Officer of the NMPCTC. She received her Master of Public Health at New Mexico State University and undergraduate at Emory University. She brings years of experience in program development, grant management and evaluation in cross-cultural settings. She is also passionate about creating wellness and resiliency as part of the work culture at NMPCTC.

When not at work, Nicole enjoys exploring the diverse landscapes of New Mexico and beyond.

Donna Madrid is a Las Cruces native with extensive experience in graduate medical education and health care administration. She has worked with organizations like the Robyn Institute on Violence, the US Department of Corrections, Medico Psychological Services, and Memorial Medical Center, specializing in program management, development, ACGME accreditation, and resident recruitment. Donna has been instrumental in the Memorial Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program, overseeing recruitment, scheduling, accreditation, and GME compliance. Certified as a Training Administrator of Graduate Medical Education (C-TAGME), Donna is pursuing a degree in Health Care Administration from Doña Ana Community College, where she is a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Her skills in organization and communication allow her to excel in challenging environments, solving complex problems and leading administrative functions. Donna is also a certified Notary Public. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

Holley Hudgins serves as the Executive Advisor for the NMPCTC. She holds both an MBA and an undergraduate degree from the University of Florida. With extensive experience in healthcare administration, strategic planning, and financial management, Holley brings a wealth of expertise to her role. She is proud of the remarkable work the NMPCTC does for the people of New Mexico and is honored to contribute to its mission.

In her leisure time, Holley enjoys fly fishing and exploring the trails of New Mexico and Florida with her golden doodle and standard poodles.

Lezley Alba serves as Director of Operational Development at NMPCTC, where she blends her clinical background as a respiratory therapist with her experience as a health equity specialist for the NM Department of Health. Growing up in rural New Mexico, Lezley has a firsthand understanding of the challenges that communities face in accessing quality healthcare. At NMPCTC, Lezley works to increase and enhance the physician workforce throughout the state. She oversees recruitment/retention strategies, and monitors program level data on residents to track progress, engage stakeholders and refine initiatives. 

Outside of work, Lezley enjoys photography, cheering on her three kids at their sporting events and spending quality time with her husband and pets.

Amanda Castillo is a GME Program Specialist at the New Mexico Primary Care Training Consortium, where she passionately supports rural and community residency programs, staff, and residents. Committed to advancing the equitable development and sustainability of quality primary care training programs, Amanda draws on her experience as a program coordinator for a rural 1+2 Family Medicine Program in Southwestern New Mexico. Currently, she is a TAGME Candidate, furthering her professional development. 

At NMPCTC, Amanda plays a vital role in Professional Development for faculty and staff and provides administrative support to the NMPCTC Board and members. Additionally, she serves as an Advisory Board Member for the Rural GME Administrators Network and is a mentor in its Leadership Institute Program. 

Originally from Maryland, Amanda has embraced life in rural Southwest New Mexico for the past nine years, where she lives with her husband and two young boys. Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys spending time with family, trail hiking, traveling, and rereading the Harry Potter books.

Jennifer Molina serves as a GME Specialist II at NMPCTC. She is currently attending Doña Ana Community College, where she is pursuing a degree in Health Care Administration. She has worked in the medical field for 26 years. At NMPCTC, Jennifer assists our GME Program Director in supporting existing and developing primary care residency programs. She also assists with administrative duties. On her free time, she enjoys spending time with family.

Mario Dozal serves as the Communications Specialist and Organizational Support for NMPCTC. With a strong background in communications and media, Mario is committed to advancing the NMPCTC’s mission of equitable development and sustainability of quality primary care training programs. In his role, he manages the consortium’s communication strategies, assists residency programs with their communication needs, and supports initiatives that promote primary care training across the state. He also produces Puentes, NMPCTC’s podcast, which highlights the stories and voices shaping primary care in New Mexico. 

When he’s not working, you’ll often find him with his family and pets, or diving into new tech and media hobbies.

Since NMPCTC’s inception, our Board of Directors has been comprised primarily of family medicine residency program directors. Today, our board has grown to include residency program faculty, dedicated family physicians, and representatives from the NM Health Care Authority; all working together to strengthen GME in New Mexico.
