On July 2, 2026, San Juan Regional Medical Center began a new chapter in its history with a special White Coat ceremony welcoming the inaugural class of interns in its Internal Medicine Residency Program.
Surrounded by hospital leadership, medical staff, and community partners, Drs. Priyabhashinie, Shah, Malik, and Ullah were formally introduced to the community. Program Director Dr. Erin Philpott then led the new residents in reciting a service oath before they donned their white coats, officially marking the start of their training.
Congratulations to the new residents and the dedicated team who brought this residency program to life. We look forward to the lasting impact you’ll make across the Four Corners region!
