NMPCTC Partners Featured Among New Mexico’s Most-Viewed Residency Programs

The New Mexico Primary Care Training Consortium (NMPCTC) is proud to share that several of its primary care residency training partners were recently recognized in an American Medical Association article highlighting the most-viewed residency programs in New Mexico.

Based on 2025 FREIDA™ user activity, eight NMPCTC partner programs appeared among the 15 most-viewed residency programs in the state, reflecting strong interest from future physicians exploring training opportunities in New Mexico. Rankings were based on FREIDA™ pageviews from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2025. 

The NMPCTC partner programs included on the list were:

#1 — University of New Mexico School of Medicine Program (Internal Medicine)

#2 — Memorial Medical Center (Las Cruces) Program (Family Medicine)
          • Also known as: Southern New Mexico Family Medicine Residency Program

#3 — Memorial Medical Center (Alamogordo) Program (Family Medicine)

#5 — University of New Mexico School of Medicine Program (Family Medicine)

#8 — University of New Mexico School of Medicine (Santa Fe) Rural Program (Family Medicine)
